We LOVE destination weddings! As a studio we’re fortunate to photograph weddings around the world. We’re happy to create custom packages to fit your wedding plans. Travel and accommodation fees are included in destination packages, so you won’t have to worry about a thing!

We absolutely do! And because we do so much traveling between Kelowna & Calgary, unlike most destination photographers who charge extra, we INCLUDE travel for BC & Alberta destinations in our pricing.

We think year long long turnaround times are CRAZY! While during the summer months things can get a little busy, our typical turnaround time for wedding photos is about 8-10 weeks. This gives us the time we need to give them all the attention they deserve, without making you wait 6-12 months to get all your photos

That's a tough question to answer, because it really depends! Whether you choose to have 1 or 2 photographers on your day, how many hours we're taking photos and the events that take place during the day all affect how many photos you'll receive. As a ballpark, most weddings we deliver between 300-600 photos.

Unlike some photographers, we don't cap the number of photos you get, and only remove the duplicates / unflattering shots. We want you to be able to see all the memories from the day - Not just the highlights!

We absolutely do! No wedding too big, no elopement too small. In fact, smaller & more intimate events & adventures are our personal favs. While big weddings are fun too, we find we get to develop much deeper connections & capture more of your story in a smaller setting.

Once your photos have been edited & color graded, they'll be uploaded to your own custom gallery. You'll receive a link to this gallery where you can instantly download the full resolution jpgs and share the gallery link with all your family & friends!

A lot of studios do the watermark thing or force you to print albums through them – we’re not big fans of that route. We do offer albums and prints through our studio, but the way we see it, you’ve invested a lot for your photos, so you should have the freedom to do what you want with them for personal use.

Another big question! While we've worked long and hard to develop a unique style & approach that really focuses on genuine connection & storytelling, there are other photographers out there with similar work.

The biggest difference for us probably comes down to the interactions & relationship we build with our couples BEFORE the wedding day. By the time we come to capture your day, we're already very comfortable together & know exactly what your vision is + what you care about. So it's less like having a photographer to be nervous around, and more like having a friend there who happens to take great photos + knows how to create an incredible experience during your day.

Yes, and YES! The beauty of shooting in Digital format is that we are able to produce ALL your photos in either colour or black and white! When we develop the photos in the studio we select the medium that works best for each image.

Our studio shoots exclusively digital, most often using Sony A7 IV’s as our main camera bodies. Digital means we can shoot WAY more photos during the day, fix any skin blemishes/colouring issues in photoshop, and deliver them to you far faster. While we certainly love the organic feel of film cameras, they come with a large set of limitations, risks and drawbacks that for us outweighs the gains.

Yes, for weddings we ask that you provide us with a meal at the reception so that we are able to eat & recharge without needing to leave and miss any of the action!

Coverage time is up to you! Anywhere from 6 to 60 hours of continuous wedding coverage – we’ll fit it to you. As a starting point we’d suggest 8 hours to capture an entire wedding day. During our first consult we can help you walk through your timeline to see how much photo time you'll need.

We've been photographing weddings since 2014. We've taken our cameras to 8 countries and all across Canada, and photographed well over 100 weddings. But the best part about weddings & elopements is that since every couple & story is unique, it's still fresh every time!

We LOVE what we do, an put our heart and soul into every wedding we’re lucky enough to photograph. Because of the amount of time and individual focus we want to put into every wedding, we have to limit the number of bookings we take per season to 15-20 annually. This way every wedding we photograph receives all the attention and time it deserves.

We’re big into candid photography, and capturing real natural emotions. That said, sometimes a little direction can be really helpful in putting you at ease! The thing about photography on the day is that as a bride you obviously want gorgeous photos to remember the day, but the reason for the day ISN’T the photos! Its about starting a brand new adventure with your best friend in the world for life, and celebrating that with your friends and family. So we try and find a blend of taking enough time for your photoshoot to ensure you walk away with stunning photos of the day, but also staying back during the rest of the day and capturing moments as they unfold – so that you can stay in the moment.
