A Wedding Elopement Photoshoot In Mount San Jacinto CA & Palm Springs Aerial Tramway (With In-And-Out Afterparty!)
When A&K told us they wanted to take wedding photos up at Mount San Jacinto CA, we were PUMPED. It's amazing how you can start out taking wedding photos in Palm Springs desert, hop on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, and be taking mountain elopement photos in California 20 minutes later!
So we rode the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway to the top of the San Jacinto Mountains (Which by the way are incredible, if you've never visited!) and explored in the fading light of sunset. For anyone looking for engagement photo locations in Palm Springs or an incredible mountain photoshoot location near Orange County, we would HIGHLY recommend checking out the San Jacinto area. Not only is there a ton of variety, but the cool mountain breezes + unique views make it absolutely extraordinary.
A helpful note for anyone planning a photoshoot up the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway / San Jacinto elopement or wedding: Make sure you arrive WELL before sunset. There is a large cue waiting to get on the Gondola, so you won't be able to get up there as soon as you arrive. And because it's in the mountains, the sunset and golden light is over a lot quicker than google says it is!
We spent a couple hours in the mountains grabbing photos of Anthony & Kayleigh and getting them to connect with eachother, and then we road down the tram. As a last second decision, we popped into In-And-Out to grab a burger and snapped a few quick photos while we ate. And like it often happens, these wound up being some of our all-time-favs from the shoot.
Sometimes (Oftentimes) the best moments are the unplanned ones. The spontaneous moments. The REAL moments. That's where life is. That's where the magic is! And that's what we love capturing most.
Just when we thought the day couldn't get any more memorable, we concluded the evening with an impromptu photoshoot at the local In-n-Out. Surrounded by the warm glow of neon lights and the scent of delicious burgers in the air, A & K shared a quiet moment, and we captured the essence of their love in this unexpected yet utterly charming setting.
